Hi, Yoga Enthusiast!
I would like to take a moment to think of our Nashville community as they manage the aftermath of the recent tornado. It also reminds me of my own experience of Nashville’s 2010 flood. The only thing that kept me going during that difficult time was the help and support from my neighbors and community. It gave me the strength to go on and rebuild my house and get back on my feet. If you are one of the families who are going through this hard time please reach out to us. The most important part of being a yogi is having the support of the community and being able to provide that support to those in need.
As my Guru Sri Sri says, “Yoga is not just a set of stretches but an attitude-how you care for nature, how you connect with the community.”
That connection with nature and community is the real essence of yoga. So, please, do not hesitate to reach out to each other for support and reach out to Symbiotic Yoga.

Sun Salutations: The Full Yoga Experience

Sun Salutations, known as Surya Namaskar in Sanskrit, is a traditional yoga sequence that can offer all the benefits yoga has to offer. When done with proper breathing techniques, it can be a full-body workout.
Learn about the aerobic benefits of Sun Salutations done as a flow as well as how slowing down this sequence can improve muscle flexibility and strength. Then pair mantra with the movement to develop a mindfulness experience.
