OUR SERVICES

Prenatal Services: Preparing You for the Journey Ahead

To help you navigate this beautiful phase of your life. We provide a comprehensive range of services tailored to your needs:

  • Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy: Our specialized therapy sessions are designed to strengthen and support your core and pelvic floor muscles.

  • Orthopedic Support: If you experience orthopedic issues during pregnancy, such as low back pain, sciatica, or rib pain, our experienced team can provide relief and guidance.

  • Labor Preparation: In the final month of your pregnancy, with your OB's permission, we will prepare you for labor. This includes perineal massage, breathing techniques, and exploring various delivery positions.

  • Prenatal Yoga: Experience the benefits of Viniyoga and Hatha yoga traditions, led by our certified expert, Bharati Gokhale. Yoga can help increase strength, flexibility, and endurance while promoting stress and anxiety reduction and relaxation.

Postnatal Services: Nurturing You Beyond Birth

  • Return to Activity Program: Typically starting around six weeks after delivery, we create a personalized program to help you regain your pre-pregnancy activity level safely and comfortably.

  • Body Mechanics and Baby Care: We teach you how to safely carry and care for your newborn, considering the changes your body has undergone. Proper body mechanics are essential.

  • Diastasis Recti Assessment: We assess for diastasis recti and provide guidance on exercises to restore core strength.

  • Scar tissue management: Abdominal scars from Cesarean deliveries and perineal scars after vaginal deliveries can be restrictive and painful. They also may contribute to certain orthopedic and pelvic floor disorders. We will provide techniques to address and manage your scar tissue in order to provide relief and prevent future issues.

  • Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation: Our experts will help you strengthen your pelvic floor muscles, promoting optimal postpartum recovery. This can help to resolve bowel and bladder symptoms that might arise, such as incontinence.
